American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 10 amβ6 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (213) 322-2060. Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Los Angeles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I bought assorted whole cake to celebrate anniversary. Cake looks so cute, and loved the taste too! Both cake sheets and cream are super soft and fluffy. The workers were super friendly as well. I wanted to visit Harucake for a long time and donβt regret coming here.

Harucake is usually very busy during the day and evening, so I visited early in the morning to avoid the long lines. The plaza offers valet parking, but in the morning it was quiet enough that parking was free, which made the visit more convenient. The bakery is known for its fresh cream cakes and choux pastries, which are made to order. Because of this, many customers place orders online and come in for pickup. Prices are on the higher side, but the freshness is noticeable. I tried the egg tart, and it paired perfectly with a morning coffee β a simple but enjoyable treat. Overall, a great spot if you visit early and want to enjoy fresh desserts without the crowds.

A very unique dessert shop with great flavors. The popular items sell out quickly! I had a short chat with the manager and learned about their careful ingredient sourcing, which made me appreciate the place even more. I especially loved the Harucake-definitely worth trying. Only one thing: hard to park

Harucake is my fave place to treat myself to after a while or bring guests to whenever they come visit. They added a soosoo matcha to their menu and I was bouncing off the walls since I've been wanting to give it a try, but could not try their soosoo latte since I don't like coffee. It was just as amazing as I expected and wish I could drink it every day. Their cakes are delectable and not too sweet. My fave is their injeolmi cake- the perfect balance of sweet and salty with an addicting nutty scent. I've recently tried their dubai chewy cookie and was not a huge fan- $10 each was quite a steep price point for a treat that didn't quite live up to the hype, unfortunately. Service is always pretty quick and friendly! I just wish they were open on Sundays as well :')

The soosoo matcha and hojicha drinks are soo good especially if you like corn flavors! The corn cream and corn ice cream are amazing I always come back for it... Their cakes are pricy but very tasty too ive liked every flavor, not too sweet and very soft and creamy. The original egg tart is also really good, super flaky on the outside and soft egg on the inside. For the scones I prefer the plain milk cream flavor. The corn one was good too but the ones with icing on top of the scone were too much for me. The milk cream is really soft and not too sweet. The new dubai chocolate mochi ball is good but I probably wouldn't get it again for 10 dollars, it's nice to try once though.
